Holds Plenty but Not Too Large

I have made 2 of these backpacks for the neighbor children and they turned out so well! After opening the package, they quickly put them on their backs and they were just the right size. I figured these will hold plenty for day trips or overnight camping trips. The drawstring top made it easy for the children to open the top of the bag.

Drawstring Backpack

I used the backpack pattern with my sewing elective class for a group of middle school kids. They had a blast picking the fabric combinations that they liked. I did make one chance due to lack of time. Instead of zippers we used velcro to close the front pocket. Thank you.

Easy Peasy
