Individual Patterns are delivered as a download link directly to your email by Payhip. Please check your inbox (and spam folder!) There is a big download button in that email. Click the button and you will be able to download the files to your computer.
Purchased a BUNDLE? - A Customer Account has been created for you on Payhip where all your bundle products are stored for you to access any time. Log into your Customer account here, or click the icon at the top of the screen.

Haven't received email with your download link yet? Check your spam/junk folder to see whether it's gone there. The sender of the email you are looking for is Payhip.
It's not even in the spam folder? Then you may have made a typo in your email address when purchasing. Contact us with the correct email address and we'll be able to update it for you.

We recommend to always download and save the purchased files to your computer after purchase to ensure you can easily access them in the future.

In addition to the pattern pieces, our payable patterns include: a description and the standard things like finished measurements, yardage requirements, and step-by-step instructions with clear photos, and sometimes additional diagrams, tips and markings to make your project as easy as possible. The files may also include links to additional sewing tips or tutorials on AppleGreen Cottage site to get the most out of your pattern, and to make your project fun and easy.
Please note that our free patterns only include the pattern pieces and a link to the freely available online tutorial.

All of our patterns are in the common PDF file format. To view the files, you will need a PDF viewer such as the Free PDF reader available from Adobe (http://get.adobe.com/reader). Generally though, your computer should already be setup to view these files and you shouldn't have to do anything special.

Download the pattern file to a desktop, open it in ADOBE READER, and print at 100% size on paper or cardstock. (We recommend not printing directly from a browser window or from mobile, it could cause issues.)

PURCHASED THE PATTERNS IN OUR OLD SHOP - before 2023?
If you made orders in the OLD shop (before January 2023) - you can still access all your previously purchased patterns - for a limited time. We've set up a separate 'archive' for you to go to and download all your patterns from the 'old' shop:
- LOG IN the OLD shop and
- then click on your ORDERS HERE to download all your PDF files.
- Save them to your computer.
The archives will be available for another month or two, but best download them now so that you don't forget.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T DOWNLOAD MY PATTERNS - TODAY?
Your orders will not be lost, they will be saved in our archives for another month or two, so that you have time to download them. BUT it's best to get them now: via your old shop account here.
To clarify, please note that the old patterns are not automatically transferred to the new shop, nor is the account.

Our patterns include a lot of photos, showing you every step of the making process. Also, illustrations and diagrams are included where necessary, to help you through any tricky parts or show you little tips you can use. To give you more information and help you make the most out of our patterns, additional links are included to our blog sewing tips and tutorials.

Yes. The seam allowance is already included and marked on all pattern pieces - the only exception is the Earwarmer Headband.

No. No physical item will be shipped to you. This shop sells digital patterns, meaning PDF files that will be available to you for immediate download the moment you purchase them. You print these files from your computer.

You cannot sell or share the pdf pattern (file) itself. All patterns, photos and information in this PDF are copyright protected. You may print copies for your own use. You may not make duplicate copies of PDF or print copies to share or distribute in any way. Patterns are intended for individual user only.

Yes! You are more than welcome to sell items you personally sew from my patterns, on a handmade scale. (Mass production excluded.) We’d love it if you credit www.applegreencottage.com as pattern designer. Thank you!

All payments for patterns are processed through Paypal. While making the transaction, you will have the option of using either your Paypal balance or a card instead. If you have any queries about payment options, you need to contact Paypal directly with these.

Creating Account - When you purchase a BUNDLE:
When purchasing a pattern bundle, you will be able to register for a customer account within the checkout process. Simply enter your email and name while ordering, and your Customer Account will be created automatically.
This means you'll get access to your own customer account which lists all your purchased products in the bundle. You will be able to login at any time and get access to your products. Look for an icon at the top right of the screen.

How to CREATE my Customer Account?
These are optional. If you want to create a customer account, look for the account icon at the top right of the screen. Click on it and you will be taken to the login page. Click on Create Account link. Once you've created your account, you can log in here at any time and get access to your products.
How to delete my customer shop account?
Log into your customer account in the SHOP by clicking on the account icon in the top right of your screen. Select the Account tab and click on ‘Delete your account’ button. Your shop account will be deleted and you will no longer have access to the products ordered in AppleGreen Cottage shop.

How To Reset a Password

Please see these instructions to help you with making purchases in this shop.

This is for you if you've created a Customer account just now and would like to associate your PREVIOUS purchases from this NEW shop with your newly created Customer Account.
You can do this by visiting one of your old download pages/emails, then you'll see a light blue box there asking you to add this product to your customer account.
You would need to:
- click on the 'Get Started' button,
- login to your Customer Account and then finally
- confirm the email address used with the transaction.
Payhip will then be able to migrate your previously purchased products with that email address into your new customer account.
